Amy Sherald is a contemporary portrait painter based in Baltimore, Marlyand. Sherald gained international attention for her portrait of First Lady Michelle Obama. In this lesson, students will learn how to draw a self-portrait using accurate facial proportions. They will use mixed media to create their self-portrait in the style of Amy Sherald.
